The lady on the bed

The lady who lay on that bed,
is the lady who gave you life,
she is the one who brought you up,
she took your care, till you got a wife,
she did not sleep, when your health was bad,
she cried all night, when you were sad,
she gave her heart, her life, her soul,
and now treat her like a piece of coal,
she burnt herself, so you could survive,
and you left her alone, so that you could thrive,
all she wants is your care today,
a minute of your time, you telling her that you will stay (with her),
with every tear drop that comes out of her eyes,
a dream, an expectation suffocates and dies,
if you are ever alone, think of this my brother,
the lady that lay on the bed all alone, is your mother…
